Grant Park Class: Saturday, July 31st!

We will be holding ZombieFit class in Grant Park, Chicago this Saturday, July 31st!

Cost: 5$.
11:00am-12:30pm
No RSVP necessary
Wear comfortable workout clothes for the outdoors and some good track shoes.
Also bring a bottle of water!

We’ll be meeting here (the green arrow), the cross streets are Van Buren and Michigan.

Class includes a group warm-up, as well as introduction and practice of basic parkour movements.
Instruction is followed by a short, but intense, conditioning session. Hope to see you there!

If you are running late and can’t find us at that location, look around the nearby area and/or try crossing the Van Buren bridge in Grant Park and look near the Lincoln Memorial.
Instructors will most likely (not always) be wearing black ZombieFit t-shirts.
If it is raining within 1 hour of class, class is cancelled.

Tuesday classes in Chicago.

I will be hosting classes at Grant park in Chicago starting August 3rd. They will be run very similarly to the classes we hold at Excel.  We will start with a warm up, move to basic movement and then have a short condensed conditioning session to top it off.  So come out and advance your skill by working on movement outside in a real environment!

Cost:  $5

Time:   6:3opm – 8:00pm

Meet up:   Lincoln Memorial

WOD: 07/28/10

Warm Up: Run 1/4 mile OR row 250m OR bike 2 miles, then:
3 rounds of 10 push ups, 10 sit ups, 10 air squats, 10 pull ups (may sub with jumping)

WOD 190
You are to perform these exercises until you fail to perform all movements in the 1 minute time (not to exceed 20 minutes). If you do not complete the repetitions in the minute round (when under the 15 minute mark), stop the clock and perform 2 burpees, then restart the clock and continue the movements for 15 minutes. You must attempt the movements for 15 minutes. If you fail to complete the movements in the 1 minute time frame after 15 minutes, that is your last round.

On the minute, and for at least 15 minutes but no longer than 20 minutes, complete the following:

5 air squats
7 jumping jacks

3 pull ups (if you are doing jumping pull ups, sub with 7 repetitions)
5 push ups
7 air squats

traceur
5 pull ups
7 push ups
9 air squats
