This is a video from the guys at Northern Parkour. These guys are amazing traceurs, and have unbelievable video, tutorials and documentaries. Please check them out. This video is especially pertinent to this website. We know you need parkour to survive the zombie apocalypse. But what if the zombies knew parkour?
Also from Northern Parkour, is the following part 1 of the a documentary about parkour. I highly suggest that any practitioner of parkour watch it.

Excel Class Shoot

Tomorrow, November 18th, ZombieFit will be shooting a video documeting our class at Excel Gymnastics in St. Charles. I’m writing this as I wanted to give notice to those who will be attending. The footage will be edited and put together to make a short video to demonstrate what a ZombieFit class at Excel is like for those who have not made it out there yet.
Don’t be nervous or shy! We will be running a regular class as usual. Those who feel uncomfortable being on film should just let us know before class starts tomorrow. Otherwise, this is a great opportunity to show what we do there! The edit will be used only as promotional material for ZombieFit. Portal venues include ZombieFit’s webpage (of course), chicagoparkour.net, youtube.com and ZombieFit’s twitter page.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to post them in the comments, or ask us before class starts tomorrow!

What if you woke up tomorrow to find your city overridden with zombies. . .would you survive? Here at ZombieFit we aim to help you prepare for the impossible, so you will be ready for the improbable.
The keys to surviving Z-day are simple: Be able to lift and throw heavy things, run fast and for long distances, be situationally aware and be able to navigate obstacles and urban environments in an efficient manner. By following the ZombieFit WODs (workout of the day) and practicing parkour, you will achieve increased fitness through the performance of functional movements at high intensity and find within yourself the internal discipline and mental fortitude necessary to become a survivor.
What is functional fitness? We think it is the ability to perform any given task, at anytime, quickly and efficiently. Functional fitness and situational awareness are necessary skills that are becoming less and less important in today's society. Our goal is to be instructive in functional fitness and the parkour ideology. We sincerely hope you learn something from this site.
